Is it safe for my family & I to fly in a small aircraft and land on the water?

Not only is Destination Air SHUTTLE's Cessna Caravan extremely safe; it is not small at all! In fact, the Caravan Amphibian is the largest production seaplane in the world and the cockpit is actually higher than the cockpit of a Boeing 737! Furthermore, it has been rated as one of the world's safest airplanes. It's jet-prop engine provides reliable, quiet & vibration-free power and the airplane's amphibian design allows it to land at airports or on water. It's large, air-conditioned cabin with oversized windows ensure that your flight will also be extremely comfortable with breathtaking, panoramic views of the scenery below.

Who are the Pilots and engineers flying and maintaining Destination Air's aircraft?

Destination Air SHUTTLE takes great pride in recruiting only experienced seaplane pilots with a minimum of 1,000 hours of seaplane experience. Our technical support is led by a highly-experienced engineer with an experienced team of highly competent engineers & mechanics.

How early should we arrive for check in before our flight?

For flights originating at Phuket airport, please check-in no later than 30 minutes prior to takeoff time. For flights at other locations, please arrive at the pickup location not later than 30 minutes prior to takeoff to allow boat transport time to the aircraft.

How do I meet the plane at Phi Phi or Krabi?

Destination Air SHUTTLE offers water taxis to the seaplane loading raft. You can also simply arrange for a "long-tail" water taxi ride to our floating dock at the active landing area.

If we are taking an excursion, what should we bring along for our tour?

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring your bathing suit, camera, video camera, sunscreen & sandals. Try to avoid taking valuables which may be dropped or lost in the water during your tour. Most of the excursion packages offer fruit and drinks on the boat and lunch will be served ashore at a designated international resort hotel. You should check the exact details for your excursion.

We are traveling with our small child. Are we required to buy a ticket for him/her?

Infants under 2 years of age travel free. For children more than 2 years of age travel with full price.

What if my plans change and I will not be available to fly with Destination Air SHUTTLE ? Do You offer any refunds ?

Yes, For all cancelled bookings within 7 days prior to departure, 5% reservation fee applies. If cancellation made within 7-2 days, a 50% charge will be made. This fee will be waived only if the flight is rescheduled. If cancellation is within 48 hours of intended travel or in the event of a "no show" (if not booked in 30 minutes before flight time, seat considered open), a 100% charge will be made.
